Workload Distribution & Amazon Packing List

Import the SAP delivery list (.txt) and every order loads exactly as exported — delivery #, lines, units, customer, carrier and Del. date, with any Guar Date shown as the order's RDD. Then split the orders across the team and print each person's pick list — or save them all as one Word file.

Shift details

1 · Import the SAP export

In SAP, save the delivery list with System → List → Save → Local File → Unconverted, then pick that .txt file here — or drop it anywhere on this page. Every order loads exactly as exported: delivery #, lines, units, ship-to name, carrier, Del. date, and the Guar Date as the order's RDD.

2 · Distribute orders

Every order SAP loaded, in the one list where they're handed out — running totals sit at the bottom, and the list can be copied into your picking sheet or downloaded. Sort by lines or units, or filter by customer, carrier or a lines/units range: the ☐ numbers always match what you see, and the assign tools under the list use those same numbers. Give an order to someone with its Assigned to dropdown, tick orders to hand them out together with Assign Selected, or use Auto-Distribute and the tools below the list. Tick two or more orders and Merge Selected combines them into one order — delivery numbers joined with +, lines and units added up — and the Unmerge button on its row splits it back apart. Orders only merge when they share the same delivery address (customer / ship-to name); a mixed-address selection is refused with a message. Orders for McKesson, Lawton, Shopper, Loblaw, Costco, Sobeys Terrebonne, Entrepot and Amazon, every order with an RDD, and every order over 100 units also get Carrier Name and Ship Date fields under the order — what you type there shows on the pick list.

Tick who's working, then Auto-Distribute shares the unassigned orders as evenly as possible — balanced mainly by total lines, with units counted in too (every 20 units weigh like one extra line). Or assign by hand: each order's own dropdown in the list above, the ticked orders, or the tools in the box below — a number range, the Remaining block, a whole carrier, or all the unassigned at once. With Exclude future orders on, orders whose Del. date falls after today are kept out of everything and show as excluded in the list. Each person's totals, Start/Finish times and Download CSV / Word for just their orders are in the summary below — and when everyone's set, print all the pick lists with the big button at the bottom (or save them as one Word file).

3 · Amazon case calculator

For Amazon orders: set each order's pack size — 6-pack or 12-pack (12 by default) — and its units are split into full cases plus the leftover partial units.
